Federation rooms

The premises of the Federation house all the 17 member associations and the three organisations using its premises for meeting purposes.

The Federation has 6 dedicated rooms to particular member organisations plus four board rooms.

Board Rooms

Three fully air conditioned board rooms are also available.

Executive Board room: Capacity 15 -18 pax used mostly by the Council and on special occasions by its member organisations.

Board Rooms 1- 2: Capacity 12 pax. These have to be booked before hand.

All have WiFi and equipped with water dispensers

For conferences, seminars or board meetings, MFPA can offer high standards of service with a flexible range of meeting rooms and catering facilities to meet your requirements. The Federation premises are centrally situated and easily accessible.
The Conference hall is on the ground level.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

The Conference Hall of the Federation offers the following facilities:

  • A fully air-conditioned hall with a maximum seating capacity of  80 pax
  • Podium for up to 5 speakers.
  • Large screen, projector and laptop
  • PA system
  • WiFi
  • Toilet facilities.

The shop is currently unavailable since it has been rented out.

Federation beginning and premises

Mr Roger Degiorgio, an eminent architect, mentioned the idea of setting up a federation for professional organisations, to Mr John Chadwick, Director of the Commonwealth Foundation, who gave immediate support to this concept. 1969
Seven professional organizations grouped together to become the Malta Federation of Professional Bodies. 1970
The Malta Federation of Professional Bodies was formally constituted on the 19th February 1971, when the first official meeting was held. 1971
The Council managed to acquire the shell of freehold premises in St Julians, which had been converted into a very well equipped and modern centre. The Centre was formally opened on the 27th October 1973, by the Director of the Commonwealth Foundation, Mr John Chadwick. 1973
The St Julians premises became small for the needs of the Federation. The seat was moved to Pembroke on the 17th February 1993. 1993
The Malta Federation of Professional Bodies changed its nomenclature to Malta Federation of Professional Associations at an Annual General Meeting held on the 29th September 1999. 1999
Suitable premises found in Sliema Road, Gzira and the Federation moved to the premises on the 30th March 2000. 2000
