Dental Association of Malta
The Dental Association of Malta was founded in 1944. It is a non profit organization founded with the scope of providing continued education for its members and to represent the Dental community in government matters. The DAM is also one of the founding members of the Federation of Professional Associations of Malta.
The DAM has a membership rate of over 85% of locally registered Dental Surgeons.
The executive committee is made up of 9 members, all with specific roles who meet once a month to discuss current matters. The mandate of the committee is for 2 years, after which fresh elections are held during the Annual General Meeting.
The DAM is also represented in various European councils such as the CED (Council of European Dentists) and the FEDCAR (Federation of European Dental Competent Authorities and Regulators).
